Tips & Tricks to A Cleaner home:
  • Use White Distilled Vinegar in your laundry to remove odors. Use 1/4 to 1/2 of vinegar in each load. You can still use your regular detergent just use 2/3 to 1/2 of what is marked on the cup.
  • Vinegar also works with dishes. Add a few tablespoons to fight grease & have sparkling dishes all the time! 
  • Use a Mr. Clean Magic eraser to remove permanant marker & crayons off of your walls. You can also use WD-40, nail poslish remover, bleach(depending on the surface) & Anti-bacterial hand gel! :)
  • Immediately sprinkle salt on any spills in the oven. Then wipe away the burnt on food with a damp sponge after the oven has cooled for an easier clean!
  • Have an old stained sink? Pour a half cup of salt onto surface then rub with a lemon. Let stand for a few Minutes then rinse! And Wala, You have a whiter brighter sink that you dont mind if friends see when they come over! ;)
  • Have skidmarks on your Linoleum floors? Rub toothpaste on them before washing the floors! 
  • Shower Curtains looking old? Stick them in the washer, on gentle cycle, & throw in a pint of white vinegar. They will be good as New!
  • Wipe lemon oil on shower doors! This removes build up & keeps away future build up longer! 
  • Wipe windows with newspaper after washing!! Wont leave any streaks!! 
  • Hairspray will remove ball point pen stains!! 
  • Use 4 quarts of water & 1 cup of mouthwash to mop tile floors! Fights bacteria!! REMEMBER: Dilute the mouthwash so it doesnt make your floors sticky!
