The changing season may make us sick as our body takes time to fine-tune itself from different elements like temperature change, pollens, coldness, dust, heat and others. I have not tried using onion but a friend of mine uses onion to ward of her cold or flu. She would cut an onion in half and place one half in a bowl and place the bowl next to her bed as onions are excellent at drawing viruses and bacteria into them.
